The best part is the entire process is FREE!<br /><br />The operating system known as <a href="http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=res&amp;cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ipodlinux.org%2F&ei=q4uURLuXMLO4aoXDpBk&sig2=7uR7XZenzijE2yZH8DWnqA">iPodLinux</a> supports video playback, but you need a specially formatted .avi file to play it.
